Content over form is our main goal. The line between what makes up a documentary, a narrative or an experimental film is becoming increasingly blurred. Although we do believe in the importance of style, we do not want to restrict ourselves on one particular genre. Some stories are better told in documentary format, some as a narrative film, and others by merging different styles.
We are interested in films that are captivating, entertaining, committed and present the story in a new, fresh way. We want the audiences to watch our films and say to themselves, 'this is interesting, I never thought of that'.
With our combined language skills and diverse cultural backgrounds and experiences, we believe we have access to unique stories.
At Hot Docs Film Festival 2005, OMNI Television's Independent Producers’ Initiative awarded Dolce Vista International $10,000 for the TV documentary pitch ‘Famous Players.’ More info.
